Hi, I'm Chris Hagan, a journalist living and working in Sacramento, California. Currently I'm the Managing Editor of Digital Content at CapRadio, Sacramento's NPR member station. I work with a team of other digital journalists to oversee all our digital platforms, including capradio.org and our station social media channels.
Previously, I was a Web Producer and Data Reporter for WBEZ, Chicago's NPR member station, from 2014-2017. There I assisted other reporters with data analysis, created charts and graphics, did web design and development, and also reported and produced my own original projects. Prior to joining WBEZ in 2014, I worked as a storyteller for Oregon State University's College of Business and as a reporter and videographer for the Statesman Journal in Salem, Oregon.
I have a B.S. in journalism from the University of Oregon, and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area.
